Questions and answers about SGL

How a shared child calendar for parents who live apart works: what you can do, who it's for and when it launches.

About the service in brief

SGL is a shared calendar and agreement service for parents who live apart. Its main goal is to agree on the child's schedule and preserve the agreements: the routine, visits, events and expenses. Platforms: iOS, Android and the web. Below are answers to frequently asked questions.

What is SGL?+

SGL is a service for parents who live apart. It helps maintain a shared calendar of your child, agree on schedule changes, discuss events and track expenses.

How is it different from a regular calendar?+

A regular calendar shows events. SGL helps you actually agree: a day change is sent as a proposal, and the other parent can accept it, decline it or suggest a different option.

Do I need the other parent to get started?+

No. One parent creates a family space and invites the other with a link.

Which devices does the service work on?+

Apps for iOS and Android will be available, as well as a web version for browsers. Data is synced between family space members.

Can an already agreed day be changed?+

Yes. A change is sent as a separate proposal and takes effect after the other parent confirms it.

Can we discuss an event inside the service?+

Yes. Comments can be tied to a specific day, event or proposal, so important information doesn't get lost in general conversations.

Can we track child-related expenses?+

Yes. You can add an expense, specify the amount and mark who paid it.

Who can see the data?+

Data is available to family space members and is used to operate the service.

Who makes the service?+

The service is made by K-Market. Global Digital Services LLC.

Does the service replace a court order or an agreement?+

No. SGL helps organize communication and record everyday agreements, but it does not replace court decisions, visitation agreements or legal advice.

When is the launch?+

We are preparing to launch iOS and Android apps, a web version, and releases on the App Store, Google Play and RuStore. Leave a request to be among the first to know about the launch.
